techUK, Formerly Known as Intellect
JI Software is member of techUK, the Association of Information Technology, Telecommunications and Electronics industries.
techUK is the ICT trade association created to give a single powerful voice for these industries in the UK. It incorporates members of CSSA (The Computing Services and Software Association) and FEI (Federation of Electronic Industries). techUK represents more than 1000 organisations including such well known names such as ARM, BAE Systems, BT, CMG, EDS IBM, Intel, Microsoft, Nokia, Phillips, SAP and Sony and many more. JI Software's Managing Director, David Jefferson was a Main Board Director of the Computing Services and Software Association (CSSA) when it grew substantially by acquisition and became Intellect. In its early years and David championed the needs of SME members within this community of IT industry giants.
techUK is committed to improving the environmant in which its members do business, promoting their interests and providing high value services. Intellect has directly influenced the government's tax credit rules as they apply to software companies, giving more attractive treatment for the kinds of research they commonly undertake.
